CULTURE

Culture is woven throughout each of our programs at RIEL Institute. Morning smudge is encouraged for all of our sutdents, including the Aboriginal Headstart preschoolers.

 

Depending on the season, all students are encouraged to participate in our yearly medicine picking.

ELDERS

​

Students participate in sharing circles, cultural knowledge through oral tradition, experiential learning, various field trips and workshops. Elders are avalible for emotional support and guidance throughout the program.
